The authorities in Detroit are currently searching for a group of suspects who are believed to have robbed a 15-year-old boy on the city’s west side last month.

On Thursday, Detroit police officials released photographs of the individuals believed to be responsible for a robbery that occurred at approximately 6 a.m. on January 16th.

A teenager was walking near McNichols and Fenmore, just a block east of the Southfield Freeway, when four males exited a black Ford Explorer and approached him.

According to officials, a suspect aimed a handgun at him, while the remaining individuals demanded his personal belongings. Subsequently, the suspects quickly returned to their SUV and fled the scene.

The authorities have not disclosed the items that were taken from the teenager by the suspects.

The suspect was captured on surveillance photos at a Citgo gas station located at the intersection of McNichols and Fenmore.

According to the police, the individual who aimed the firearm at the victim is described as being “tall and thin.” The suspect was last observed wearing a black face mask, a dark Carhartt jacket, Hyflex gloves, black and white jogging pants, and red Jordan shoes.

One of the suspects, who was also described as tall and thin, was last spotted wearing a black jacket, black pants, and black tennis shoes. However, there was no description provided for the other two suspects.

If you recognize the suspects or their vehicle or have any information about the robbery, please contact the DPD’s 8th precinct at 313-596-5840. You can also reach out to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP or submit a tip online at DetroitRewards.tv. Your help is greatly appreciated.
