SANDOWN – Following the late January storm that heralded this year’s seemingly perpetual winter, President Barack Obama and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) made a federal disaster declaration for the state of New Hampshire, and Sandown is set to meet with a FEMA representative soon to look at what the storm cost the town.
HAMPSTEAD – Selectman Chad Bennett addressed his fellow board members Monday night, saying he wants Off-Highway Recreational Vehicles (OHRVs) banned from accessing Route 121 from the Rail Trail to Depot Crossing. The board authorized Bennett to visit the site with Chief of Police Joe Beaudoin and Road Agent Jon Worthen to determine what must happen
SANDOWN – Though the final touches are still being put on the report from the Sandown Consolidation Committee on the merger of Central School into North School, Sandown’s representation on the group has confidence that they’ve put together a good plan for the big change.
